Pamper My Mama: a mother's day giveaway
Sometimes it seems as a mother we don’t get the recognition we so deeply desire . The special treatment at a salon, a fresh look of new colors adorning your face, a strand of jewels, a little surprise gift…when we get down to it, we just want to be pampered.
Well, here’s your chance! Amanda Mitchell Photography has teamed up with these other phenomenal moms and business women to give you an opportunity to win a day of pampering! As moms we all understand the hectic life of balancing work, running a home and loving our family and friends. So take a little time off and let us pamper you!
Your special day awaits you…Chrissy Collins from Signature Salon (Nicholasville) will give you and a friend the royal treatment. For the winning mom: color/highlight, cut and style. For your companion: cut and style. Allow Erica Collinsworth of Mary Kay to give the winning mom and her companion a complete make over! Next, Dawn Pittaluga will adorn you in jewels…the final touch before…
Your very own photography session! Smile for your close up! And to remember this special day you will also receive a disc packed with images documenting every moment. Jessica Faulhaber from Jessica's Creations will also present you with a custom, hand-made gift.

How long does the contest last? Nominate moms April 1-15, 2011
Who can participate? Anyone can nominate a deserving mother. Husbands and kids can nominate their own mom, moms can nominate other moms! Just leave a post on this 'event' with the name of that special mother and tell us why she is so deserving.
To nominate go to facebook and search for 'Pamper My Mama.' The event is not public until April 1.
How is the winner determined? We will narrow the nominees (based on your entries) down to a handful of candidates. Those candidates and reasons for recommendation will be posted for anyone to vote on. The nominee with the most votes wins the "Pamper My Mama: a mother's day giveaway." Voting takes place April 16-30, 2011.
When will we find out? May 1, 2011
The fine print:Giveaway holds no cash value. No substitutions or exchanges of goods and/or services. Giveaway is not transferable. In the event initial winner cannot participate, the person with the second highest number of votes will be deemed 'winner'. Winner and companion must be available on May 14, 2011 from approximately 2:30-7:00pm. Winner and companion are responsible for travel accommodations to Signature Salon and to photo shoot location (located in or nearby Lexington, KY). One vote per person, more than one vote will result in disqualification.
