Some of my favorite sessions are when I can hide behind the scenes and snap all the candid shots my little heart desires. Birthday parties are the best!! So it is a win-win for the family and me! The family isn't burdened about toting around a camera and feeling guilty for missing a 'Kodak moment' and I can do what I do best...work the camera!
Sky Zone has done a wonderful job with parties for the young 'uns. Their staff interacts with the kids during jump time and does a stellar job with serving pizza and cake. Seems like an easy job?? Try keeping the attention of a dozen or more elementary aged kids and gracefully serve cake and punch!
Considering hiring a photographer for a party? Hit me up!

And Brother Makes Five!
Big Sis and Bigger Sis would like to announce the arrival of their new brother! With two sisters, this lil dude has already learned to sleep through the excitement of a house full of lil ones...don't take my word for it, just take a peek at the last image! Cool as a cucumber, out like a light when it came to his newborn session!

Where did 2015 and 2016 go?!
As you can tell I have seriously neglected my blog...
Like, for real...
Totally forgot...
Too busy...
Priorities...
But you'd probably rather see my review of 2015 for work, right? Here a few highlights from last year... You'll notice babies and infants are the majority of my work. With homeschooling, attempting to keep somewhat of a photography client base and keeping a home, I have realized that baby packages and seasonal mini sessions are what keep me afloat these days.

Such as accompanying my husband to Boston for a work trip LAST SEPTEMBER. He worked, we sight-seed! Actually, since we homeschool it was one LOOOOOOOOONG field trip and worth it. I long to return and hit some of the sites we didn't the first time around. Then go back when the kids are older and start to learn about American history.
But, we made do with ...
Hunting for treasures at Boston Harbor Islands's Spectacle Island.
And earning our Junior Ranger badges. Don't know what that is? Check it out at the National Parks Service! We also visited the New England Aquarium, Boston Museum of Science and became very familiar with the bus and subway routes. Unlimited weekly ticket and my kids were young enough to ride for free!
Then we swung by the Crayola Experience in Easton, PA on the looooong way back home. It sure has changed since I was a pre-teen!
And back home to pick apples before pumpkin season started...

Thanks for stopping by! Let's hope it doesn't take me another 21 months to make my next post!
